The Greater Manchester Barbershop Harmony Club (Rainy City Chorus) is
running a FREE six week Learn to Sing course for men. It will start at
7.45 and end at 10pm each Wednesday from May 5th to June 9th. The venue
is Edgeley Methodist Church, Edgeley Road, Stockport SK3 9NB. Access to
the church hall is gained from Old Chapel Street and parking is on-road
in the many surrounding streets.
Barbershop singing is four part
close harmony unaccompanied. The benefit of this course is that you
learn within a group, which makes it easier and less daunting. There's
no need to worry about reading music; the simple teaching methods will
help you to learn quickly.
