The Choral Society returns to the Great Hall at Lancaster University to perform this great choral work.The Society will be conducted by their musical director John Perrin.
The professional soloists for this concert are :
Robert Anthony Gardiner - tenor as "Gerontius"
Anthony Cunningham - baritone as the priest and the Angel of Agony
Lise Christensen - soprano as the Angel.
There will, as usual, be a full professional orchestra led by Julian Cann.
