SPRINGTIME SERENADE by the Rochdale Light Orchestra Print

The Rochdale Light Orchestra presents an evening of light-hearted music from 7.30pm in St. Martin's Church, Castleton, Rochdale, where there is free kerbside parking on Vicarage Road North and surrounding streets.

Music to be played includes The Teddy Bears' Picnic, The Whistler and his Dog, A Quiet Stroll, Lullaby for Alex James, A Pretty Girl is like a Melody, The White Mountain, The Irish Washerwoman meets Danny Boy and other orchestral novelties. With John Peace (piano soloist). Conductor; Graham Marshall. Admission is free. Interval refreshments available. There will be a retiring collection.
