Jennifer Pike, violin, with Martin Roscoe, piano.In 2002 Jennifer Pike was
the youngest winner of BBC Young Musician. In 2008 The South Bank Show
/The Times awarded Jennifer The Breakthrough Award for impact on the arts.
Only a short while ago The Independent recorded that Jennifer was
“equipped at 16 with phenomenal tuning, pace, control of timbre and range
of dynamics, she brought the house down…” Martin Roscoe, a friend and
favourite of Douglas Music, performs with Jennifer. He is one of the UK’s finest pianists whom The Daily Telegraph has described as “… a pianist who both thinks and offers full-blooded playing of breadth and depth. In this country, he is an uncommon creature…”
