Noriko Ogawa is a brilliant international concert pianist & recording artist of considerable renown in Europe, America & in her native Japan where she is a national celebrity. Noriko is both a favourite & a friend of Douglas Music and makes a welcome return. The Telegraph describes her playing as ‘ravishingly poetic’.
BBC Music Magazine acknowledges the power and spell that Noriko can weave with her ‘awesome technique, a strong sense of structure, balance and atmosphere, and the ability to send an audience away inspired and fulfilled’. Noriko has entitled her programme “Ah, vous dirai-je, Maman!” after Mozart’s variations on the tune of the same name, but which we know also as ‘Twinkle, twinkle little star’. Beethoven, Debussy and Chopin feature in the rest of this popular programme of concert favourites.
